Today I’m standing before you naked,
just like yesterday
and all the days before,
looking at my eternity.
Yet all mirror reflects are dark clouds –
insecurities and superficial labels
that do anything but define me.
It took me years to realize
the demon in my view is a mere illusion
shaped by the tales of survival and chaos,
hiding beneath the raw beauty.
Today I’m standing before you naked,
embracing for the first time
how imperfectly perfect I really am.
